Ambedkarite Leadership Development Program - Concept Note

Ambedkarite Leadership Development Program

Commemorating 100 Years of Mahad Satyagraha as World Revolution Day

Concept Note

Background

On March 20, 1927, Babasaheb Dr. B. R. Ambedkar led the historic Mahad Satyagraha, marking a revolutionary assertion of dignity, equality, and human rights. It was not just a struggle for water—it was the beginning of the Ambedkarite Revolution to annihilate caste and build a new India rooted in liberty, equality, and fraternity.

As we approach the centenary of the Mahad Satyagraha in 2027, we have a historic responsibility—not only to remember but to revive and carry forward Babasaheb’s mission. This centenary offers a golden opportunity to build the next generation of Ambedkarite youth leaders across India.
