National Inaugural Conference - 19-20th March 2026
National Inaugural Conference for the Centenary Celebrations of the Ambedkarite Revolution
Date: 19–20 March 2026
Venue: Mahad, Raigad, Maharashtra
As we approach the centenary of one of the most defining moments in India's struggle for equality—the Mahad Satyagraha led by Babasaheb Dr. B.R. Ambedkar in 1927—we are proud to announce the initiation of the 100 Years of Ambedkarite Revolution celebration journey.
The two-day national conference at Mahad on 19th and 20th March 2026 will mark the formal beginning of this historic celebration. This occasion—observing the 99th anniversary of the Mahad Satyagraha—is more than symbolic. It is a collective resolve to carry forward the torch of the Ambedkarite movement into its next century.
To ensure this celebration resonates across every corner of the country, at least two representatives from each of the 766 districts of India are invited to Mahad for this inaugural gathering. These representatives will become the core ambassadors of the centenary campaign, which aims to reach every village, town, and city through decentralized yet united action.
This conference will include:
- Reflections on the Mahad Satyagraha and its continued relevance
- District-wise planning sessions for centenary activities
- Unveiling of the year-long roadmap leading up to 19–20 March 2027
- Formation of national and state-level action groups to coordinate the celebrations
- Call for international solidarity and declaration of intent to push for 20th March as World Revolution Day at the United Nations
Let this not be a mere commemoration, but a revival of the mission Babasaheb started—a movement for dignity, equality, and human rights. The countdown to the 100th anniversary celebration in 2027 begins now—from Mahad, with resolve, unity, and revolutionary hope.
We invite Ambedkarite organizations, youth and women’s collectives, human rights defenders, and social justice movements to join hands as we launch this national and international journey of remembrance, resistance, and renewal.
Jai Bhim!
