A One-Month International Carnival | 19th Feb – 20th March 2027
Celebrating 100 Years of Mahad Satyagraha – World Revolution Day
To mark the centenary of the historic Mahad Satyagraha, we present a grand International Carnival of culture, resistance, and human dignity. This one-month celebration blends tradition with innovation, and local roots with global reach — honoring the spirit of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar’s Ambedkarite Revolution.
Phase 1: Shivaray te Bimray Samta March
19th–28th February 2027 | Raigad to Mahad
Beginning on 19th February, the birth anniversary of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, we launch the “Shivaray te Bimray Samta March”, a 10-day symbolic march from Raigad Fort to Mahad’s Chavdar Talab. This journey connects two great legacies—Shivaji Maharaj’s vision of Swarajya and Babasaheb Ambedkar’s fight for Samata (equality). The march will conclude on 28th February at Mahad, the birthplace of the human liberation movement.
Phase 2: International Carnival of Infotainment & Culture
1st – 18th March 2027 | Mahad**
For 18 days, Mahad will transform into a vibrant global stage, hosting six unique festivals that merge **information and entertainment (infotainment)** and reflect diverse international cultures:
- 🎨 Art Festival – Showcasing revolutionary art from around the globe.
- 📚 Literature Festival – Dialogues and readings on caste, race, justice, and equality.
- 🎭 Theatre Festival – Stage performances rooted in human rights and resistance.
- 🎬 Film Festival – Screenings of powerful documentaries and cinema for change.
- 🎵 Music Festival – Rhythms of resistance, unity, and freedom from every continent.
- 🌐 Digital Influencers Festival – Content creators leading conversations on global justice and identity.
These festivals go beyond performance—they bring ideas, emotions, and global experiences to one place, offering audiences a rare window into the world’s creative responses to inequality and hope.
Phase 3: Samta Satyagraha Parishad
19th–20th March 2027 | Mahad
The Carnival culminates in the Samta Satyagraha Parishad, a two-day national and international conference on social justice, dignity, and the future of the Ambedkarite movement. Taking place on the very land where Babasaheb and thousands defied caste oppression by drinking from the Chavdar Tank in 1927, the Parishad aims to ignite a new wave of non-violent global resistance.
More Than Entertainment – A Festival of Enlightenment
This 30-day celebration is not just a festival—it's a global human experience. Through art, music, literature, and digital platforms, people will witness the subtleties of creativity and the strength of humanity. National and international artists, activists, and youth will come together to share, learn, and awaken.
This is not a gathering of one community—it is a historic moment for all of humanity. A revolution of compassion, courage, and conscience.
